TYRIL* styrene-acrylonitrile resins are strong, transparent engineering thermoplastics. The styrene portion provides clarity, stiffness, and processability, while the acrylonitrile portion provides chemical and heat resistance. This unique combination of excellent optical properties, chemical resistance, high tensile and flexural strengths, good heat performance, ease of fabrication, and low cost makes Tyril SAN Resins ideal for all instrument panel lenses as well as other interior lens applications.

TYRIL 880B resin is a high performance SAN copolymer that offers improved chemical resistance, physical properties, and practical toughness over TYRIL 100 resin. TYRIL 880B resin is used for injection molded and extruded applications.
